Solar Eclipse

Monday August 21st is the solar eclipse! Just remember to NOT look directly at it - the sunlight can burn the back of your eye and cause permanent damage to your vision. Sunglasses and most other lenses cannot protect your eyes, so enjoy the cool phenomenon through pictures if you need to see the big event!

Colour Blindness

Colour blindness can vary from seeing fewer colours to seeing only in shades of grey. Most, but not all, types of colour blindness come from the mother’s side. The Ishihara test is one easy way to find out of there may be a colour vision deficiency.
